Jesus taught that ” ... it is what comes out of the mouth that defiles.β (Matthew 15)
It would seem that my judgement of others is as much an outpouring of my own character as it is an evaluation or indictment of someone else.
As we pray today, let’s pay attention to what we are thinking about those around us. What are we hoping for them? What does that say about what is inside us?
